Being a member of the Portland Petanque Club includes a player’s license issued by the Federation of Petanque USA, means you share an interest in a sport popular throughout the world.

We always seek new players to join in our activities. We schedule & host regular tournaments, and a number of our players travel to out of town tournaments, finding it improves their game and lets them make many new acquaintances.

Having a player’s license issued by the FPUSA often makes it easier to get into a game with the locals in whatever country you happen to be. There are currently 1 million licensed petanque players in 100 national federations, including more than 40 clubs in the United States.
